job as a paramedical

Hi Thom:
Even though I was accepted as a paramedical,as a doctor and as a nurse,I reckon I would take up being the doctor.Ever since I was a child,my aim has been to be a hero and this is my opportunity, I´ll grab it.As a matter of fact, the casualty I had to assist wasn´t really seriously wounded, his major risk factor was his age.He got a cut in his arm but it was "peanuts"
compared to what you can come across to at the Emergency Departament of a hospital.I have been told that to become an E.D. doctor, you have to specialise.Just imagine many casualties arriving at the hospital after a bus accident all at a time. Some of them are seriously injured, hell! you have to have the guts an be cold blooded. The assistants wait for the orders and decisions
of the boss,I mean the doctor in charge. That is what I call working under pressure.I am quite sure that you need some specific skills to manage in a place like that, perhaps some leadership
capacity and a strong belief in your service vocation among others.
